4-H AND JUNIOR TROPHIES

 

Exhibitors must enter exhibits as either Wicomico 4-H,  or Junior to become eligible for these trophies.  The scoring system for these trophies will be as follows: Each blue placing will score 3 points, red 2 points; and white 1 point, with the exception of large livestock.  Their placing will be scored 6, 4, and 2.  All exhibits must be made or grown by exhibitor since the last Farm & Home Show, except livestock.  The eligibility of all exhibits will be at the discretion of the supervisors of 4-H Clubs and the Farm & Home Show Board.

 

THE LEWIS R. RILEY TROPHY

Lewis R. Riley, a former 4-H member, offers an engraved trophy to a Wicomico 4-H member  during the Farm & Home Show.  To become entitled to this trophy, the placing on 4-H exhibits in the Farm & Home Show  must total the highest score of all Wicomico 4-H members  who have exhibited.

 

HARRY S. BANKS MEMORIAL TROPHY

This trophy, donated by the Sharptown Lions Club will be awarded to the Wicomico 4-H member  who receives the second highest number of points in 4-H exhibits including livestock.

 

SHARPTOWN AMERICAN LEGION POST #218 TROPHY

This trophy will be awarded to the Junior Exhibitor who is not a Wicomic4-H member who achieves the highest total number of points in all exhibits including livestock.

 

THE PAT COLLISON MEMORIAL TROPHY

This trophy will be presented to the Junior Exhibitor who is not a Wicomico

 4-H member  who achieves the second highest total number of points in all exhibits including livestock.

 

J. QUINTON JOHNSON MEMORIAL TROPHY

This trophy will be given in memory of Mr. Johnson for his many years of work with livestock.  To become entitled to this trophy, entries must total the highest score of all exhibitors in large livestock in the show.

 

 ADULT TROPHIES

 

WICOMICO COUNTY FARM BUREAU TROPHY will be awarded to the ADULT exhibitor who receives the highest number of points during the Farm & Home Show.  Each blue ribbon will receive 3 points, each red 2 points, each white 1 point.

 

THE WAYNE V. SHAFF AGRICULTURAL TROPHY  This trophy is given in his honor for the many years of service to the agricultural community.  The adult exhibitor who receives the highest number of points in Departments H-Fruits & Nuts, I-Grains & Hay and R-Vegetables will receive this trophy.

 

COMMERCIAL BOOTH TROPHY:

 

SPONSORED BY:   THE WICOMICO FARM & HOME SHOW

A trophy will be awarded for the best commercial booth displayed during the Wicomico Farm & Home Show.
