Powellville Ruritan Club Trophy

will be awarded to the Horticulture specimen judged Best in Show.

 

GENERAL RULES
1. The containers for collections and arrangements must accompany the entry.
2. Flowers will be judged on uniformity and trueness to variety and color.
3. Arrangements must be the work of the exhibitor.
4. Leave long stems on flowers. Remove damaged leaves from specimens.
5. All specimens and potted plants must have been grown by the exhibitor for at least 90 days.
6. When counting blooms, they must be opened to be judged.

7. Best in Show must be chosen from a 1st place (Blue Ribbon) entry.

ARRANGEMENTS ( fresh arrangement must be in water soluble Oasis to be accepted for judging.

49. Pop A Top Arrangement. Garden grown flowers in a soda can. Top is to be removed.
50. Christmas arrangement using candles with fresh evergreens and assorted (Christmas material to be placed on coffee table).
51. One-sided arrangement in coffee mug using your choice of fresh garden flowers
52. Arrangement in any type container using dried material such as dried flowers, seed pods or leaves.
